Kilmantin Arts Gallery: (now located on Bridge Street, Wicklow Town) Kilmantin's membership has doubled in three years. The gallery walls beat with all the colour’s of life.
Here the human imagination has poured forth itself in Oils and Watercolours, in Acrylics, Wood, Ceramics and Fabrics. It is a wonderful show to behold, a rainbow of ideas, hope and achievement.
It is an exhibition that evolves and changes during fifty-two weeks of the year between the hours of ten and five thirty six days a week. It thrives because this is an organization run by voluntary effort for the benefit of artists in the county and far beyond. By being there and doing so, a growing community of artistic talent is nurtured and given a place to bloom.
Exciting times lie ahead. New members bring not only their talents but new ideas.

Wicklow Rugby Football Club
In the early years of Wicklow RFC one of the problems encountered was to find a home for its games. In the mid 1970’s Wicklow settled at Ashtown lane after having played at Ballygonnel, Kilpoole, Tinakilly, Newrath, Killoughter, The Beehive, Coolbeg, Rosannagh, Ballybla & Glenealy.
In the early years the players could best be described as a pretty mixed bunch. The club was lucky however in have very good players in key positions.
Although the backbone of the team was formed by players familiar to the game, the club is deeply indebted to those players whose rugby careers began with Wicklow.
New Players: Wicklow Rugby Club fields three adult sides and are always looking for new players of any level, including beginners.
Why not join us on Tuesdays & Fridays at 7.00pm for training, or contact Stephen Clarke on 087 205 1659 for further information.
