Ballywaltrim Community Centre

We are based on the Boghall road in Bray,Co.Wicklow.

We have a number of clubs running in our center for all the community including Youth groups,Youth drop in center,we also have a Boxing club running on a monday and thursday night for young people which is very sucessful.

We have Bingo on a tuesday night which everyone is welcome.

We have a great hall which is used for football,basketball and Badminton and Irish Dancing and Karate etc.

Hall and rooms are also available for hire.

Brockagh Resource Centre is a modern, multi-purpose resource centre conveniently located at the heart of County Wicklow.

The centre is exactly one hour’s drive from Dublin city and the surrounding counties of Wexford, Carlow, Laois and Kildare. Its stunning location and comfortable facilities make it a popular choice of venue for concerts, theatre performances and conferences.

Main Hall:
The large main hall with its superb stage has a seating capacity of 250. Apart from theatrical presentations, it is also used for workshops, conferences, functions, indoor sports and live music.

Conference Room:
Launch your conference in this spacious, professional and comfortably appointed environment that inspires a constructive and lively group discussion.

Green Room:
The green room is a bright, relaxing room overlooking the beautiful mountains of Glendalough. This room is ideal for yoga, workshops, conferences and meetings. The beautiful view will help you unwind and create the atmosphere you require.

Small Meeting Room
A small meeting room or office adjoining the main hall can accommodate groups of up to 12 people.

Rates for room hire, catering and multi-media facilities are available on request. There is on-site parking for 80 cars and 6 coaches.

Glenealy is a vibrant rural community located 1 hour from Dublin. Our village hall provides services to the wider area including Ashford and surrounding townlands.
The following activities take place in the hall:

Card drives

Indoor hurling
Tennis Camps/classes
Community drama workshops

We hope in the future to add to this list as plans are in place to significantly upgrade and extend the hall.

We also have an IT Centre which offers training to Fas and FETAC certification, broadband use, printing and copying facilities and secretarial services. Training can be designed to suit specific needs with options of individual or group tuition.

Hollywood Centre Wicklow is a local community centre based in Hollywood West Wicklow

Hollywood Centre is the focal point for the community of Hollywood Co Wicklow. We offer a variety of classes and activities for the local community in a modern safe environment.

Services and Facilities include conference rooms, community groups, function room hire, therapy rooms and Photocopying and Faxing.

Hollywood Centre holds fundraising events throughout the year to help pay off the costs of having had the Centre built. A small number of people work tirelessly to keep the centre running as smoothly as it is. We encourage people in the community to come forward with any fresh ideas about fundraising, or indeed, anyone who would like to join the existing committee or become involved in using the Centre for various activities are encouraged to come forward.

Kilcoole Community Thrift Shop

Located on Penny lane, the Kilcoole Community Thrift Shop is open Tuesday - Friday 11.00 to 5.00pm and Saturday mornings from 11.00 - 2.00pm.

Profits from the shop are donated each month to a different local group or charity.

The shop stocks a large range of clothing for all the family, as well as bric a brac, books, toys and household items.

Donations are gratefully accepted.

Whilst there is no community centre as such. Kilcoole Parish Centre is the base for IT classes, AA meetings and now the Womens Group will have their meetings there.

St. Patrick's Hall holds bowling and bingo,

The shop is a new addition to the village. It started as an experiment, but it's now becoming established and we aim to inspire people to recycle mostly and to raise funds for local groups and charities, but it has the potential to be more.
