Our modern wicklow Bord Failte Approved Bed and Breakfast is a family run B&B / guesthouse nestling in the Wicklow hills.

It is situated on the left-hand side as you go down the road from Rathdrum to Avondale House. While only four minutes walk from the village centre (with it’s Pubs and Restaurants) it has tremendous panoramic views of the whole Avonmore valley, on down to Avondale Forest Park & House
Our Wicklow Bed and Breakfast has three large guestrooms on the ground floor with ensuite toilets & showers attached, while our family rooms are all located upstairs. Our spacious dinning room is attached to a guest television room to the east and on the south side enters into a large conservatory, also available to our guests, where they can relax with tea and coffee served.

The conservatory boasts a great view of the Wicklow countryside across the valley. Our grounds are also fully accessible to guests, with over three quarters of an acre of landscaped gardens with two distinct patio areas with tables and chairs, ideal for sitting out with afternoon tea or coffee.

The village of Rathdrum is the perfect location for any holiday in Wicklow. It is situated in the centre of the Wicklow Mountains and has all the major beauty spots and places of note within easy reach.

Most of them are under 10 Km away, including Wicklow town and it’s famous Gaol, the Motte Stone, Avoca Hand weavers (of Ballykissangel fame), The Meetings of the Waters (of poet Thomas Moore fame), Glenmalure Valley, the beautiful lakes of Glendalough (with it’s monastic ruins from the sixth century).

Also ClaraLara (kids fun park) and several excellent golf courses are all within easy reach.

Yet Rathdrum is only a one-hour drive from Dublin, and an hour and a half from Rosslaire ferry port. It is easily accessible by train from both.

Golfing, Angling, Horse riding, Cycling, Tennis and Squash are all available locally.

We pride ourselves on our personal attention, and extend a warm irish welcome to everyone, the first time guests and the many that return, alike.

We welcome you all to come and stay with us, be it for one day or longer to enjoy the fresh Wicklowair, the peace, and the tranquillity amidst the grandeur of the Wicklow forests, rivers and mountains.
